Launch of MaritimHUB: Indonesia’s Integrated Maritime Application

General Overview

The Indonesian government has recently introduced MaritimHUB, a one-stop solution aimed at enhancing accessibility and efficiency in maritime services. Developed by the Directorate General of Sea Transportation (Direktorat Jenderal Perhubungan Laut) under the Ministry of Transportation (Kementerian Perhubungan Indonesia), MaritimHUB serves as an Electronic Hubla System tailored for business operators in the maritime sector.

This innovative platform aims to streamline, expedite, and bring greater transparency to licensing processes while improving overall management within Indonesia’s maritime transportation sector.

Features of MaritimHUB

MaritimHUB is equipped with a Single Sign-On (SSO) system, seamlessly integrating all relevant maritime directorates under one unified platform. The application offers comprehensive services, including but not limited to:

  • E-Blanko (Electronic Blank Forms);
  • Port management services;
  • Coastal and maritime guard services;
  • Sea traffic and transportation services;
  • Shipping and seafarer services; and
  • Navigational services.

Key features of MaritimHUB include:

  • Online vessel registration and permit applications;
  • Management of port data and cargo loading/unloading activities;
  • Integrated access to maritime transportation information and reports; and
  • Financial reporting for port-related activities.

User Access and Registration

To access MaritimHUB, general users and business operators with a Business Identification Number (Nomor Induk Berusaha – NIB) registered in the Online Single Submission (OSS) system can register in MaritimHUB via the Login menu on the official website.

In this regard, general users can access public information through this application whilst business operators with registered accounts can access a personalized dashboard to track the progress of their submitted service requests.

Licensing Transition from the SEHATI Application

Effective 1 February 2025, all license applications submitted priorly will continue to be processed through the previous SEHATI application until 31 March 2025. However, any new applications submitted through SEHATI on or after 1 February 2025 will be deemed invalid and must be resubmitted via MaritimHUB.

With the launch of MaritimHUB, the Indonesian government reinforces its commitment to digital transformation in the maritime sector, ensuring enhanced service efficiency, regulatory compliance, and streamlined operations for maritime businesses across Indonesia.
