Ease of Restrictions on Domestic and International Travel
In the effort of returning daily activities back to normal in the midst of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, the government of Indonesia tries to ease on the travel provisions, one of which is by eliminating the mandatory requirements for PCR and Antigen tests for those who have received the third dose of vaccine (booster). This provision is included in the Letter of the Minister of Transportation of the Republic of Indonesia No. 23 of 2022 concerning Guidelines on the Implementation of Domestic Travel by Land Transportation during the Corona Virus Disease (COVID-19) Pandemic Period (“Letter of the MoT 23/2022 (SE Menhub No. 23 Tahun 2022”).
Additionally, there are a number of other changes regarding the provisions for travel by land, sea, and air both domestic and international travel that we have summarized on this ARMA Update.

Pelonggaran Pembatasan Perjalanan Domestik dan Luar Negeri
Dalam upaya menuju kondisi aktivitas normal di tengah pandemi COVID-19 yang belum usai, Pemerintah Indonesia mencoba untuk melonggarkan ketentuan perjalanan orang, salah satunya adalah dengan menghapuskan persyaratan wajib tes PCR dan Antigen bagi yang telah menerima vaksin dosis ketiga (booster). Ketentuan tersebut termuat dalam Surat Edaran Menteri Perhubungan Republik Indonesia Nomor 23 Tahun 2022 tentang Petunjuk Pelaksanaan Perjalanan Orang Dalam Negeri dengan Transportasi Darat pada Masa Pandemi Corona Virus Disease (COVID-19) (“SE Menhub 23 Tahun 2022”).
Selain itu, terdapat sejumlah perubahan lainnya mengenai ketentuan perjalanan dengan transportasi darat, laut, dan udara baik perjalanan domestik maupun internasional yang telah ARMA Update coba rangkum pada kesempatan kali ini.
