Electronic System Operators Registration Deadline: 20 July 2022

In order to further regulate and monetize the activities of Electronic System Operators (“ESO”) in Indonesia, on 14 June 2022, the Minister of Communications and Information Technology has announced concerning the further reiteration of the Circular Letter of the Minister of Communications and Information Technology No. 3 of 2022 regarding the Effective Date of Private ESO Registration (Surat Edaran Menteri Kominfo No 3 Tahun 2022 – “CL 3/2022”). This letter further elaborates concerning the deadline for domestic and foreign private ESO’s to register their electronic systems through the Risk-Based Online Single Submission system, which is marked on 20 July 2022.

This ARMA Update will discuss concerning which ESO’s are required to register and why this deadline is important to be noted as well as how this regulation could impact ESO’s for their business concerns.

Batas Waktu Registrasi bagi Penyelenggara Sistem Elektronik: 20 Juli 2022

Dalam rangka mengatur dan memonetisasi lebih lanjut kegiatan Penyelenggara Sistem Elektronik (“PSE“) di Indonesia, pada tanggal 14 Juni 2022, Menteri Komunikasi dan Informatika telah mengumumkan terkait pengulangan lebih lanjut atas Surat Edaran Menteri Kominfo (Komunikasi dan Informatika) No. 3 Tahun 2022 tentang Tanggal Efektif Pendaftaran PSE Lingkup Privat (“SE 3/2022“). Surat tersebut lebih lanjut menguraikan mengenai batas waktu bagi PSE baik di dalam maupun di luar negeri untuk mendaftarkan sistem elektroniknya melalui sistem Online Single Submission Berbasis Risiko, yaitu pada tanggal 20 Juli 2022.

Update ARMA ini akan membahas mengenai PSE yang diwajibkan untuk mendaftar dan mengapa tenggat waktu pendaftaran tersebut penting untuk dicatat serta bagaimana peraturan ini dapat berdampak bagi kepentingan bisnis PSE.
