Chairman of BKPM Regulation 1 of 2020 Regarding Electronic Integrated Business Licensing Guideline: Investment Minimum Requirement

As a follow up of the issuance of the Government Regulation No 24 of 2018 regarding Electronic Integrated Business Licensing Service which governs the enforcement of the Online Single Submission (OSS) system in relation to business licensing in Indonesia, the Investment Coordination Board (BKPM) issued a Chairman of BKPM Regulation No. 1 of 2020 regarding Electronic Integrated Business Licensing Guideline (“BKPM Reg 1/2020”).
BKPM Reg 1/2020 provides more details provisions and requirements for business license submission, particularly in relation to the minimum investment provisions for a foreign capital investment (PMA) company.

Sebagai tindak lanjut dari Peraturan Pemerintah No 24 Tahun 2018 tentang Pelayanan Perizinan Berusaha Terintegrasi secara Elektronik yang mengatur mengenai pemberlakuan sistem Online Single Submission (OSS) sehubungan dengan perizinan berusaha di Indonesia, Badan Koordinasi Penanaman Modal ("BKPM") mengeluarkan Peraturan Kepala BKPM No. 1 Tahun 2020 tentang Pedoman Pelayanan Perizinan Berusaha Terintegrasi Secara Elektronik (selanjutnya disebut "Perka BKPM 1/2020").
Perka BKPM 1/2020 mengatur lebih rinci ketentuan dan persyaratan bagi pelaku usaha untuk mengajukan perizinan berusaha, yang diantaranya mengatur lebih jelas tentang investasi minimum yang harus dipenuhi khususya bagi perusahaan Penanaman Modal Asing.
