Protection for Migrant Commercial Vessel Crew and Migrant Fishermen Crew

 

To ensuring the protection for Indonesian Migrant Workers, The Indonesian Migrant Workers Protection Agency (Badan Perlindungan Pekerja Migran Indonesia “BP2MI“), as the leading authority responsible for implementing policies related to the assignment and protection of migrant workers in a coordinated and integrated enforcement including to migrant workers of commercial vessel and fishing vessel, has issued the Head of BP2MI Circular Letter No. 1 of 2023 (“BP2MI CL 1/2023”)

This ARMA Update aims to provide analysis on the Manning Agency Permit as well as the Pre-departure Procedure.

Perlindungan terhadap Awak Kapal Niaga Migran dan Awak Kapal Perikanan Migran

Untuk memastikan perlindungan bagi Pekerja Migran Indonesia, Badan Perlindungan Pekerja Migran Indonesia (“BP2MI”), sebagai otoritas utama yang bertanggung jawab atas pelaksanaan kebijakan terkait penempatan dan perlindungan pekerja migran dalam penegakan yang terkoordinasi dan terintegrasi, termasuk pekerja migran di kapal niaga dan kapal perikanan, telah mengeluarkan Surat Edaran Kepala BP2MI Nomor 1 tahun 2023 (“BP2MI CL 1/2023“).

ARMA Update ini bertujuan untuk menyediakan analisis mengenai Izin Manning Agency serta Prosedur Pra-keberangkatan.
